Key West is a medium-sized city located in the state of Florida. With a population of 25,240 people and ten associated neighborhoods, Key West is the 120th largest community in Florida.

Key West home prices are not only among the most expensive in Florida, but Key West real estate also consistently ranks among the most expensive in America.

There are quite a few people in the armed forces living in Key West, and when you visit or drive around town, you will see military people in and out of uniform, shopping, enjoying life, and being part of the community.

Key West is an extremely ethnically-diverse city. The people who call Key West home describe themselves as belonging to a variety of racial and ethnic groups. The greatest number of Key West residents report their race to be White, followed by Black or African-American. Key West also has a sizeable Hispanic population (people of Hispanic origin can be of any race). People of Hispanic or Latino origin account for 23.28% of the city’s residents.
