League City is a relatively large city located in the state of Texas. With a population of 116,320 people and 31 associated neighborhoods, League City is the 35th largest community in Texas. There's nothing like the smell of a brand new house, and in League City, you'll find that a large proportion of houses were recently built. Because of many things, League City is a great place for families with children to consider. With regard to real estate, League City has a high rate of owner-occupied single family homes, which tends to reflect stability in the local community. Finally, League City’s overall crime rate is lower than average for the country.

One downside of living in League City, however, is that residents on average have to contend with a long commute, spending on average 30.70 minutes every day commuting to work.

The citizens of League City are among the most well-educated in the nation: 47.95% of adults in League City have a bachelor's degree or even advanced degree, whereas the average US city has 21.84% holding at least a bachelor's degree.

The per capita income in League City in 2022 was $52,344, which is wealthy relative to Texas and the nation. This equates to an annual income of $209,376 for a family of four.

League City is an extremely ethnically-diverse city. The people who call League City home describe themselves as belonging to a variety of racial and ethnic groups. The greatest number of League City residents report their race to be White, followed by Black or African-American.
